No Plans For Wonder Girls As Hollywood Actresses At The Moment

International fans are going crazy about this, so I thought I’d post this article that may help clear up some things.

At the conjuctions being made that the nation’s best female idol group, Wonder Girls, will be entering America’s Hollywood as actresses next year, their management company’s representative said, “There is nothing that is settled yet.”

On Oct. 4th at 5:30 PM, the Wonder Girls participated in Busan’s “Premiere Star Summit Asia” at the Haeundae Grand Hotel. The event is to introduce various countries’ movie stars.

On this day, Wonder Girls’ SunYe said, “Next year in America, we are planning a huge project,” and left people thinking that she meant the group was entering the Hollywood market as actresses. However, Wonder Girls’ representatives stated, “The thing is not that the Wonder Girls will go to Hollywood as actresses. There are no concrete plans or confirmed details.”

“We went to the movie festival for SoHee who appeared in the movie ‘I Like It Hot’ and for a congratulatory stage at the event ‘Rising Star’,” added the representative.

Through JYP USA that Park JinYoung established in New York, there is a blueprint for the Wonder Girls to penetrate the American market as singers. Earlier this year, the girls were guests at Park JinYoung’s American performances, where they received high interest from record label representatives and fans.

I like how they leave the whole ‘Wonder Girls entering Hollywood as actresses’ thing open as a possibility; very nice PR-lawyer talk. However, while it is open as a possibility, there are no plans of right now for them to do so. Only plans are as singers at the moment. Hope this helped ^–^ Now I’m off to eat jjuk >.<;;
